| In order to calm down their baby, parents are capable to do anything: some of them can go for a car ride at 2 am, some mothers start cleaning the house with the vacuum cleaner since the noise and vibration will calm down the baby, and most parents end sleeping their baby in their beds. Do not worry about spoiling the baby, this is an intellectual function. That is, the baby must think: If I cry, I will be in my parents arms, so I will cry more…. Babies under 3 months do not have this intellectual function. If a baby under 3 months cries, he must be in arms. It has been proved that the longer you leave a baby crying, the longer he will cry. In species evolution, man is the animal with the greatest intellectual and intelligence development, for this reason nature allowed us to have babies more vulnerable and dependant than others.
